SparkShift ("we," "us," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and share your personal information when you use the SparkShift mobile application, cloud services, and related services.
By using SparkShift, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Pre-Task Plan (PTP) Data
- PTP title, description, and safety requirements

- GPS location coordinates at PTP creation and completion

- Crew member acknowledgments and sign-offs
Communication Data
- Messages sent through team chat

We do NOT store: Credit card numbers, bank account details, or full payment data. These are handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat payment processors.
AI Task Assistant Data
- Photos uploaded for AI analysis

- Generated task outputs and descriptions
- User feedback on generated content

4. Third-Party Services & AI Providers
AI Service Providers
SparkShift uses the following AI services to power features like task generation and exam prep:
- Google Gemini: Task descriptions, quiz generation
- OpenAI: Advanced language processing
- Anthropic Claude: Complex analysis tasks
Data sent to AI providers is processed according to their respective privacy policies. We do not share personally identifiable information with AI providers unless necessary for the feature.

5.2 We Do NOT Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
5.3 Legal Disclosure
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SparkShift, our users, or others.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encryption: TLS/SSL for data in transit, AES-256 for data at rest
- Authentication: Secure password hashing, optional 2FA
- Access Controls: Role-based permissions, audit logs
- Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform with SOC 2 compliance
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but continuously work to protect your data.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion:
- Personal data is deleted within 30 days
- Aggregated/anonymized analytics may be retained
- Legal hold data retained as required by law
- Backups purged within 90 days

You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your data
- Correct: Update inaccurate information
- Delete: Request deletion of your account and data
